1. Are you bored? Start a New Project!
It is no secret that ineffectual people are more likely to put on weight. They are full of ideas, but they cannot bring anything to conclusion, then get frustrated and search for satisfaction in food. If this is your case, start planning a new project to undertake today and make sure it is something you can finish. It doesn’t matter if it’s the right thing, just do it for now. You will have time to think of something more suitable later. Breaking the vicious circle of analysis and doing something is like breaking a spell. After that it will be easier to feel free and find your way.
2. Ask Yourself: What Type of Child was I?
Healthy kids eat without getting fat. We all were kids once, and we all lived without being obsessed by food and scale as you probably are now. So, go back with your memory to your childhood: what did you like to do? What was your favourite game? Your passion? Remembering who we were at the beginning of our life and rediscovering our roots can be extremely beneficial to your weight loss motivation. Start from there, and hunger will finally give you a break.
3. Emotional Attachment to Things Makes us Unhappy and… Heavy.
What are the things you really cannot do without? The people you are afraid to lose? The habits you would never give up? If the list is long, you’re more likely to gain weight. The more attached we are to things, the more we refuse changes, the heavier we become. Try to do something everyday that will help separation: one phone call less, something you avoid buying, one item thrown away that you don’t need to hold onto anymore. You will start feeling lighter, inside and outside.
While these tips at first don’t seem likely to help you with your weight loss motivation, if you give them a chance you may find that they indeed help you with exactly that. For a lot of us, finally being able to lose weight means that we need to make other changes in our lives so we can really focus our energy on the task at hand.
