You can easily do the Medifast plan and still enjoy eating out at a nice restaurant for the occasional meal. All you need to do is switch the timing on your lean and green meals while making good choices.

Now, when you’re doing Medifast, you are to eat 6 small meals. Five of them will be the packaged diet meals that are shipped to you. They require hardly any work on your part. However, while they’re convenient, it’s not recommended that you only eat these prepackaged meals. September 29th, 2010 by Inspector | Comments Off | Filed in Medifast

Whatever diet plan you’re using to drop excess weight, exercise is always an important part of it all, and it’s no different with Medifast and exercise.

Any time you incorporate a regular exercise program with your Medifast program, you significantly increase your chances of reaching your weight loss goals in a reasonable time.

However, if you’re a rather sedentary person at the moment, they recommend that you wait at least three weeks after you begin the Medifast 5 and 1 Plan before you start a regular exercise regimen. If you’re already exercising, it’s recommended that you cut back on your current regimen by half during the first three weeks on the 5 and 1 Plan. Can I use frozen dinners for my Medifast lean & green meal?

September 1st, 2010 by Inspector | Comments Off | Filed in Medifast

Not a big fan of cooking? You might wonder if you can use frozen dinners for your Medifast lean & green meal. I wish I could say the answer is yes, but in the long run, that solution isn’t really ideal. Let me explain why and then offer a few alternative suggestions.

The main reason that frozen dinners aren’t really appropriate for use as a lean and green meal is because of the way most frozen dinners are processed, they have too much sodium. Often, they don’t have enough protein either. But sodium aside, I thin even if you were to look long and hard at every frozen meal at your grocery store, you would have a hard time finding something suitable to match the ingredients of your lean and green.

Dr. Phil’s Diet Review

July 29th, 2010 by Inspector | Comments Off | Filed in Diet Tips & Reviews

[ReviewAZON asin="0743526716" display="inlinepost"]Dr. Phil first became popular on the Oprah Winfrey show as one of her regular advice-giving guests.  In fact, he proved so popular that he now has his own show and he released his own weight loss book, titled The Ultimate Weight Loss Solution, in 2003.

Most people are already familiar with Dr. Phil style.  He’s very straightforward about getting to the heart of the manner.  In fact some would say he is rather abrupt, including me, and I’m not that crazy about his methods.  However, if you appreciate his style you may also appreciate his weight loss advice.

Losing Arm Fat – Can I Lose Fat from Under my Arms?

July 29th, 2010 by Inspector | Comments Off | Filed in Exercise & Fitness

Losing arm fat is definitely a bit of a pain, but You CAN lose that fat from under your arms by putting some work into it. There are some great exercises that you can perform to help lose that fat and tighten up those underarms. Losing any fat in your body requires a good diet first and foremost. Make sure that you have healthy eating habits. But in addition to eating healthy, try these exercises designed to tighten and melt that arm flab.

Push-Ups
The good old fashion push-ups are great for working this area of the arm. To do a proper push up you should keep your back straight and go all the way up and down to the point that your nose almost touches the floor keeping your back straight the entire time. If you are not able to do a good push up while being on your toes, then you can bend you legs and do them from your knee.

Why Can’t I Lose Weight?

July 29th, 2010 by Inspector | Comments Off | Filed in Diet Tips & Reviews

There are so many different things that can factor into not being able to lose weight and each one of them should be taken into consideration. Your eating habits all the way to health issues can contribute to weight issues.

Portion size is a huge factor. Have you ever paid attention to what an actual serving size is? When we sit down to eat a wonderful home cooked meal, instead of serving ourselves only a single serving size of each item, we tend to load our plates up. When you go out to eat at restaurants, unless they are very elaborate, they serve much more than a reasonable serving size of each item. Pay attention to that serving size. The portion size could be a huge factor in not losing weight even if you are eating all the right foods.

In fact, because so many of us have a hard time really determining the right portion size, this is part of what makes diet delivery programs such as Medifast, Nutrisystem and Diet to Go popular. Check out my Diettogo review if you have ever considered just ordering your diet meals as it makes choosing the right portion size effortless.
