All About Fat Burning Exercises

April 18th, 2010 by DietGal | Comments Off | Filed in Diet Tips & Reviews

Many people believe they have to go to a gym and workout 30 minutes every day in order to burn fat and/or lose weight. And though it is recommended that a fat burning exercise routine should be 20-30 minutes in length, it is no longer thought that 5-7 days is necessary in order to get in and/or stay in shape.

We are living in an age when maintaining a good body weight is not an easy option with all the toxins, pollutants and food additives we deal with on a daily basis. It is not only our privilege to remain healthy but our responsibility to family and self to do what we can to give our body’s every opportunity to perform at its best.
Fat puts stress on your heart, your lungs, muscles, joints and the veins in your legs. It is a contributing factor as far as health risks go—diabetes, cancer or heart disease. If done correctly, weight management along with some fat burning exercises will keep you in the pink of health.

People want to look, feel, and eat better in order to improve their self-confidence and prolong their lives. Running is one thing that, when incorporated into the daily routine, can get you fit and healthy in a relatively short time. Get a pair of footwear such as Nike trainers to help you get on the road.

Being fit means being able to perform well when doing physical exertion. However, it can also mean trying to fit into that nice new outfit. Either way, fitness is important and should be part of everyone’s lifestyle. Running is a great way to get in shape and lose weight, as a one-mile run burns about 100 calories. Losing Weight Quickly for Summer

April 6th, 2010 by DietGal | Comments Off | Filed in Diet Tips & Reviews

The summer season is just around the corner and with the change of season you may have some anxiety about getting into your swimsuit, or even your shorts and tank tops. During the cool seasons it is easier to hide any extra pounds we may have put on during the year. But by making some changes in your diet and adding an elliptical workout you can start shedding some of those extra pounds and feel better about your summer wardrobe.

Pay attention to what you are eating, in fact many people have great results when they keep a journal of everything they eat. This way you can see what you are actually eating on a regular basis and start making changes. The vast majority of the food you eat should provide a nutritional benefit without providing too much in the way of things like fat and sodium, for instance a salad drenched in dressing isn’t nearly as healthy as a salad with dressing on the side allowing you to use just a small amount of it. Thankfully, as the weather gets warmer, we tend to eat lighter, so following a light summer diet isn’t too difficult at all.

Lose Belly Fat – How to Reduce Your Belly Fat

February 11th, 2010 by DietGal | Comments Off | Filed in Health & Nutrition

The desire to lose belly fat is one of the most common for both men and women. Unfortunately, the way that fat accumulates around different areas of the body is not generally something that can be controlled. It’s usually different for every person depending on the hormones they currently have in their body. The good news is that it is possible to reduce the amount of belly fat you have but it takes hard work and dedication.

Firstly, you should measure the size of your waist. This will give you a measurement to work from in order to check your progress in the future but can also help to decide whether your waist is unhealthily large. In general, if you’re a woman and have a waist of greater than 35 inches then you should think about starting to lose weight. Belly fat can actually pose a risk to your health because the bottom layer of fat produces certain hormones that can cause diseases. The sooner you start to lose belly fat the less likely you are to develop problems associated with it in the future.

Increasing Your Jumping Height is Possible With the Right Training Attitude

February 10th, 2010 by DietGal | Comments Off | Filed in Exercise & Fitness

If you are an athlete like me, then I am pretty sure you know the importance of having a personal sports trainer to help you improve your game. Sure you can go on a self-training program or a DIY training regimen but this is pretty difficult especially if you have no previous experience in doing this or you have no qualified background to dabble into self-training.

As you know, sports activities, training included, entail some risk of injury. This risk is increased if you try to go into it without knowing what you are doing. Hence, it is usually advised to go to a professional first before you adopt or, worse, invent your own training regimen.
