Protein is essential for our good health, as much so as fruit, vegetables, and a variety of whole grains. A well balanced diet has always been the healthy way, and it will always be the healthy way, when considering weight loss tips to lose a few pounds, or a large amount of weight. Never take protein out of your diet, your body needs proteins for good health. Beans and lentils are excellent sources of protein, if you do not eat meat.
How much protein should you eat?
You can measure your protein size quite easily, even when you are out. Visualize the proteins you eat as the size of a deck of cards. This should be about the three ounces per serving that you will want to eat at each meal. Protein will keep you feeling full, especially combined with a nice glass of water, and a cup or two of low carbohydrate vegetables.
