However, for long term success and good health, the more important question is, “how can I lose weight healthfully?” There are a myriad of diet plans out there. But, the only way to achieve long term success and regain your health is to commit to certain lifestyle changes.

Look Beyond Dieting, to a Lifestyle Change
Dieting will help you lose weight, but it will not keep it off. In order to keep your weight down, you most likely need a total lifestyle change. Think beyond the diet, and plan different lifestyle changes that will aid you in your goals. You need to think about how you can consistently burn more calories than the food you eat produces on a daily basis. This may be via exercise, or by continuing to count calories even though you are no longer dieting.
