For many people the worst part about dieting is the special shopping and preparing of the food. This tends to be frustrating and tiring, which make the diets fail. If you find yourself in this situation, an option you may want to consider is Diet to Go. Among the four types of meal plans offered is a Low Carb Menu for people who want to lose weight by cutting carbs. For a Diet to Go low carb review, here’s the scoop.

People that have taken part in the Low Carb Meal Plan from Diet to Go usually have rave reviews when asked their opinions. They state that the food is amazingly good as well as being easy to prepare. The chef managed kitchens of Diet to Go use only the freshest of ingredients in their specially crafted meals. After the food is painstakingly and professionally prepared, portions are measured into each meal, quick frozen and then packed in dry ice to be shipped to your front door. This is why the food is so delicious.

Everyone on the Diet to Go Low Carb Diet loves how easy it is to prepare the meals once they get them. They just need to be heated up and they’re ready to enjoy. They can be packed for lunch at work or school with no hassles. Dinner can be either quick, if necessary, or formally enjoyed by candlelight. It depends on what your schedule is like.

Along with the taste and convenience, dieters rave about the satisfying feeling they’re left with following a Diet to Go Low Carb meal. They’re filling while also being perfectly balanced with the right nutrition and low calories. These meals are part of a program that will help you to stay on your diet until you’ve reached your goal weight, as that is what happens when you don’t have to do any of the work.

Overall, the Diet to Go low carb review is pretty positive. The only negative thing said about it at all is the price. However, while it may SEEM that they’re higher priced than other diet plans, when you look at the fact that all side items and condiments are included, it’s really quite a bargain. Once your food arrives at your door, you don’t have to make any quick side trips to the store for something to eat alongside of your chosen meal. Everything you need is right in the box.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, you can check out many of the great meals on the Diet to Go Website.

[ReviewAZON asin="0060722002" display="inlinepost"]Almost every woman throughout America is looking for fast weight loss tips that will assist them in successfully losing weight quickly. While there are thousands of diets, that are advertised to be the cure to obesity, weight loss takes discipline and dedication. There is not one specific answer on how to lose weight, just suggestions on how to do so in a healthy manner. Both diet and exercise should be part of any weight loss program. While you may have a regular exercise routine, many fitness pitfalls come from not knowing the proper diet that will allow them to shed pounds quickly. Low-carb diets have been a popular choice in losing weight and keeping it off.

Low-carb diets limit the intake of “bad” carbohydrates including starchy vegetables, breads, rice, and grains. Diets such as the Atkins and Zone diets each limit the intake of these carbs with different restrictions on carbs, fats and proteins. In fact, if you check out some of the Medifast info, you’ll find that even they are basically a reduced carb diet.

The main reason many have turned to these diets is because they are known to assist dieters in losing weight quickly without counting calories. For those with bread cravings, cutting out or limiting carbs can be one of the most difficult choices.

Limiting carbohydrates has been a successful form of dieting because these carbs are converted into sugar during digestion and is stored in the liver and muscles. The theory on these diets is that carbs prevent and limit fat breakdown, thus storing fat accumulations throughout the body. Most dieters that combine low-carb with forms of exercise will see a rapid decrease in weight for the first two weeks. Like any diet, you will notice a plateau in weight loss once the body has released stored fat. Most common foods found in low-carb diets are fish, eggs, meat and poultry. It is important to eat a lot of protein to keep energy and lose weight in a health way.

While there are many weight loss tips available on the Internet, not every method of weight loss will work for every person. Review several of suggestions and methods and tailor them to your lifestyle in a way that you are comfortable. Be sure to routinely exercise, and never starve yourself. Limit portions, calories, carbs or fat, the choice is up to you and your level of discipline.

Protein is essential for our good health, as much so as fruit, vegetables, and a variety of whole grains. A well balanced diet has always been the healthy way, and it will always be the healthy way, when considering weight loss tips to lose a few pounds, or a large amount of weight. Never take protein out of your diet, your body needs proteins for good health. Beans and lentils are excellent sources of protein, if you do not eat meat.

How much protein should you eat?
You can measure your protein size quite easily, even when you are out. Visualize the proteins you eat as the size of a deck of cards. This should be about the three ounces per serving that you will want to eat at each meal. Protein will keep you feeling full, especially combined with a nice glass of water, and a cup or two of low carbohydrate vegetables.

Reduce Carbohydrates to Lose Weight Quickly
For quick weight loss tips, take in as few carbohydrates as possible, increase your protein and water intake, and you will notice in just a couple of days that you seem much less bloated, especially around your stomach area. Some folks may especially notice a reduction in bloating in their face, fingers and ankles as well as these are all common areas to retain water weight.

Carbohydrates tend to bloat us, protein does not. It is extremely important that you increase your water intake when you are reducing carbs and eating larger amounts of protein. The water will help to flush ketones from your body. You will want to increase water consumption regardless of the type of protein you are eating, so whether you are enjoying steaks or tofu, be sure to drink more water.

Protein will actually benefit you very well with quick weight loss, if you put a little extra effort into it. If you have incorporated an exercise plan into your routine, you will build muscle at a more rapid rate. Muscle takes up less space that fat, so a smaller jean size is in the future.

Exercise is always in your best interest for good overall health and fitness. Water is of course also extremely important to our bodies, especially when we are exercising to lose weight. Along with eating protein, water and exercise will help reduce muscle aches as a benefit.

The biggest tip for weight loss is to combine all aspects of fitness: Combine protein, low carbohydrate foods, water and exercise to get great weight loss results. Your metabolism will increase, your muscles will grow stronger and your appetite will be satiated even while you are losing more and more weight.

If you have been worried about your weight gain I am sure you have heard about the low fat vs low carb dieting battle. Some people claim the key to massive weight loss it to cut out all fats, others believe that cutting out carbs is the answer. Both of these ideas can be true but we have to look at what really matters. If you want to lose weight you have to do one thing: you must burn more calories than you consume. It is really that simple even though this is a very hard thing to do.

The people who believe you should eat no carb foods are not wrong because higher carbohydrate foods do tend to be higher in calorie count. Breads and chips and other processed grain products have very little fiber and lots of carbohydrates which can quickly be absorbed into the blood stream. When absorbed they turn into blood sugar or glucose. Your body then has two options, either it burns the fuel or it stores it as fat. If you want to get rid of the extra weight you are carrying around then you don’t want to be increasing the levels of blood sugar.

The no carb gurus can tend to take this idea of limiting carbohydrates too far though. Often times people who are on a no carb diet think calories don’t matter so they eat high fatty foods which happen to be low in their levels of carbohydrates. This fat is very calorie intensive so you really end up with the same result. If you eat more calories in animal or plant fat than you burn you will continue to pack on the pounds. It all comes back to calories in versus calories burnt.

Low carb diets can be low in calories also if you eat lean cuts of meat, fish and low fat egg products, and you stay away from fatty meats and dairy products. I am sorry to tell you that the only silver bullet to weight loss is to burn more calories than you eat.

[ReviewAZON asin="1439190275" display="inlinepost"]What is the Atkins Diet? Most people are already aware of the Atkins diet, but for those who are not or been hiding in a cave here is a brief introduction: It is a Low Carb Diet meaning eating low carbohydrates and the ones you do eat are called “good carbs”.

The Atkins plan is not only a diet that works, it also happens to be one of the best Diet Plans to help with muscle building. There are four parts or phases to the Atkins diet plan. Here’s an overview of how it works.

Induction: this is the first part and the hardest part as you are allowed the least amount of carbohydrates per day. It is also the most important part so following this phase you must be very strict and follow the allowable 20 grams of carbohydrates a day. To put that in perspective a small banana has about 20 grams of carbs. On this Induction phase you will get most of your carbs eating vegetables but you never feel hungry as you can eat as much what is referred to as acceptable foods in the induction. No caffeine or alcohol are allowed in this phase, I switched to decaf so I still had the taste but no caffeine, took a few days to get used to it but after that it was fine. The good news is you only do this induction for 2 weeks, or course you can stay on it longer if you want to still have more weight loss at this rapid pace but a minimum of 2 weeks is required.

Ketosis: while on the induction you body goes into a state called Ketosis and what happens when you are in this state the body uses your fat for energy. This period everyone will respond different and some people cannot handle it as well as others. Listen to your body and read up if you are safe to do this low carb diet plan, most people can do it but better safe than sorry. Ketosis is the basis for the Atkins Diet or Low Carb Diet Plans.

OWL Ongoing Weight Loss: is the second part and where you slowly add carbohydrates to your diet and you loss maybe 1 or 2 pounds a week which is what Atkins recommends and calls this the CCLL phase for Critical Carbohydrate Level for Losing. You do this by adding about 5 grams of carbs a day. You start with adding more vegetables then whole grains.

Pre Maintenance and then Maintenance: is the third and fourth phase and this varies as well like the Induction on how much weight you want to lose. But simple put, the pre-maintenance is where you add a few more good carbs and then the maintenance is what you stay on long term and learn what your body can handle with the amount of carbohydrates so you stay at that weight.

Make sure you get a book on the Atkins Diet or a Low Carb Diet Plan, as it is very important to know what you are doing and there is recommended food information in it that you will need for the carbohydrate counts. Also there is tons of information in books and on the net for recipes and places to buy or get low carb foods. Will this be part of your Awesome Diet Plans? If you answered yes, I think it is a good kick start to weight loss for most people.

Diets that actually work tend to have several things in common. They take the same basic approach to nutrition, especially when it comes to carbohydrates and protein. So here are some of the top nutritional tips you’ll want to take into consideration when deciding how to approach your own weight loss goals.

Eat More Protein

Protein is an essential macronutrient that makes up a large amount of your body. Most of us don’t get enough protein. Especially those of us that workout. Protein is great for appetite control as well as having many benefits for exercisers. When you eat protein during your meal, it fills you up much faster, and it also takes a lot more energy and time to digest, which means that you can increase your metabolism by eating more of it. This is great news for those of us wanting to lose some weight. You also need protein for muscle growth and recovery, if you do not get enough then you will not get the gains you are looking for when participating in strength training. Add some protein to each meal, and you will be better off.

Eat More Often

It is much better to eat 5-6 smaller meals a day, or every three hours, rather than three large meals in the day. This will ensure that your blood sugar stays regulated, your metabolism stays high, and you will not have the urge to binge and overeat at mealtime.

Watch Your Carbohydrate Intake

Many people are searching for diets that work, and at the end of the day, the low carb diet always comes up. Sure, excess carbohydrate can make us fat, because a lot of us are intolerant to it. Carbohydrates are very necessary for your body, and you should not cut them from your diet completely. Just try to eat them in the morning at breakfast, or after workout. At these times we are much more tolerant and your body will handle them better. For low carb diets that work really well, it is usually recommended to skip the white flour and get your carbohydrates from vegetables.

Eat Breakfast

Breakfast is what kick starts your day. Sure, you need to be in a calorie deficit in order to lose weight, but skipping breakfast is not the way to go. Breakfast will ensure that your metabolism is up at the very start of the day, and will stay up longer. It will also ensure that later in the day you do not have cravings that will cause you to overeat and over indulge..

The Atkins Diet was one of the first high protein, low carb diets. And its popularity is no real surprise. One of the things that keeps most of us from trying many diets is the fact that they restrict you from eating some of the foods you love most. But, on the Atkins Diet, not only are you allowed to eat eggs, butter, red meat, and bacon, you are encouraged to do so. Still, while the Atkins Diet has enjoyed quite a bit of popularity over the years, it is still controversial.

What Is the Atkins Diet?

Developed by Dr. Robert Atkins, a noted cardiologist and nutritionist, the Atkins Diet is based on the principle that you can lose weight by eating more proteins, and eating fewer carbohydrates.

Usually, your body burns carbohydrates to provide it with the energy it needs. Eating fewer carbohydrates means there are fewer carbohydrates in your body to burn. So, in order to get the energy it needs, your body is forced to burn fat in place of burning carbs. And, as a result, you lose weight.

Why People Are Attracted to the Atkins Diet?

People are attracted to the Atkins Diet for many reasons.

One of the biggest is that it allows you to eat foods most diets don’t, like butter and red meat. On many diets, both are usually either drastically reduced, or removed from your diet entirely. But, with the Atkins Diet, you can eat as much butter and red meat as you want.

Also, this isn’t a starvation diet. Rather than restricting how much you can eat (for example, only allowing you to eat a certain amount of calories a day) the Atkins Diet controls what you can eat. So, whenever you get hungry, you can eat something, and probably something you really like.

Finally, you can lose weight pretty fast on the Atkins Diet. You can lose from 6 to 10 pounds in the first week, and 1 to 3 pounds each additional week. Losing 6 pounds in a week while eating bacon every morning is certainly appealing.

The Drawbacks of the Atkins Diet

While the Atkins Diet is certainly effective, it can have some drawbacks.

While burning fat helps you lose weight, it can also result in a condition called ketosis. Side effects of this condition can include dizziness, nausea, fatigue, insomnia, and bad breath.

A lot of the foods you can’t eat, or can only eat in low quantities, while on the Atkins Diet provide your body with important nutrients. For example, during some stages of the Atkins Diet, you are only allowed very little, if any, milk. But milk is a source of calcium, which is needed to build strong bones. Fortunately, many of those nutrients can be replaced with dietary supplements.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the Atkins Diet is the lack of variety. Eating bacon every day might sound great, but even bacon can get boring after a while. And, eventually, you’ll start missing high-carb foods like breads, potatoes and pasta. And if you’re anything like me, that will happen sooner rather than later
